Instructions for doing the tour:

  • You can do either a virtual tour (from your computer at home) or if you have a smartphone, you can use it as you drive around physically visiting each Cobblestone site. Due to the large number of sites, we have created two tours to see all 39 Cobblestone Structures.

  • When you click the link below, it will generate a map showing the location of each of the  Cobblestone structures represented by a bubble marker. Please note most of these Cobblestone structures are now private residences. Please respect owner’s rights and do not trespass!

  • You can toggle between the tour and  these instructions by hitting the back and forward arrows at the top left of the screen.

  • If you are using a smartphone, the driving instructions can be toggled on and off the screen. At the top of the instructions is a “<” arrow. By pressing this the instructions disappear off the screen. To make them reappear, press the “>” button. You can zoom in and out of the map by using two fingers.

  • Tour #1 starts at the Raymer (Klint) Cobblestone House site (12-048 on the map). The tour directions are on the left, leading you from site to site.

  • Click the bubble for each Cobblestone site on the map and it will bring up photos and information about that site. To go back to the map, click the left arrow at the top of your screen. Continue on to the next site (12-046) and repeat this process. This tour ends at the Boone House (site 12-034) for a total of 20 sites. When you have finished the last site, click the left arrow at the top of the screen to go to Tour #2 or click the X button on the top right of your screen to exit the tour.

  • Tour #2 starts at the Boone House site (12-034 on the map) where Tour #1 ended. The tour directions are on the left, leading you from site to site.

  • Click the bubble for each Cobblestone site on the map and it will bring up photos and information about that site. To go back to the map, click the left arrow at the top of your screen. Continue on to the next site (12-030) and repeat this process. This tour ends at the Preston-Gaylord Cobblestone Farm (we now know it as Maxwell Creek B&B site 12-004) for a total of 19 sites. When you have finished the last site, click the X button on the top right of your screen to exit the tour.

  • On many of the Cobblestone sites , we have provided links to search for additional information.
